Post SVFIG WiFi test and Raspberry Pi LED experiment

I was not able to get connected to WiFi on Stanford's campus. There's a lot of access points, but the ones we know how to get at all require a GUI setup. I had brought an HDMI cable, but forgot my little USB Keyboard, so I didn't get very far.

I tweaked my back as I packed to go, and managed to calm my muscles down before I went to bed. ;(

Today, I did get a dual 7-segment LED display soldered up and almost working reliably. I used the display from here: http://osepp.com/learning-centre/start-here/101-basic-starter-kit/tutorial-7-counting-down-with-a-7-segment-led/, but moved it to a SchmartBoard breadboard that I had lying around.
I wanted to install the resistors in sockets too, but at the moment, they are not getting a very good connection, and they fall out. I will have to do something about that, but for the moment:
And locally, I'm able to access the webiopi interface:
or from the internet:
That's probably a good afternoon. ;)
